Service Agreement

Last updated: October 2026

This Service Agreement describes the terms under which MabuhayConnect provides administrative assistance for Philippine government documents to clients in Canada. It supplements our Terms and Conditions and applies to every paid service you request.

1. Legal Business Identity

MabuhayConnect is an independent, privately operated document assistance business based in Canada. Registered legal name: Mabuhay Connect Inc.. MabuhayConnect is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any Philippine government agency.

2. Nature of Our Assistance Services

We provide optional paid administrative assistance: document coordination, application handling, follow-up support and shipment coordination. Government documents are issued only by the respective government agencies, subject to their official requirements and decisions. You may apply directly to the relevant agency at any time.

3. Private Assistance Fees and Government Fees

Your fee covers our private administrative assistance and the delivery method included in your selected package. Official government charges are separate unless expressly included in the selected package; where included, they are disclosed and not charged again. We never charge a government fee that has not been verified against the applicable official fee schedule.

4. Shipping Inclusions — Regular vs Registered Mail

For NBI Clearance physical document packages, shipment is included according to the selected package:

  • Regular Mail — $90 CAD + applicable tax. Standard physical shipment included. Tracking is not included.
  • Registered Mail — $120 CAD + applicable tax. Tracked registered physical shipment included. Delivery timing is not guaranteed.

Registered Mail is not a guarantee of delivery or of delivery by a specific date. Tracking visibility is subject to the carrier's actual tracking service and may be limited in some destinations.

5. Application Processing Responsibilities

We prepare, coordinate and follow up on your application with the relevant agency. Processing timelines depend on the government agency and are estimates only. You are responsible for responding to requests for additional information or requirements in a timely manner.

6. Customer Obligations

You agree to provide accurate, complete and authentic information and documents, to comply with all government requirements, and to use the documents for lawful purposes. You confirm that you are authorized to submit any documents you provide.

7. Government Issuance Limitations

We cannot influence, expedite or guarantee any government decision. Approval, issuance, release and processing times remain entirely with the issuing agency.

8. Cancellation

You may request cancellation as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Cancellation before administrative processing begins is generally eligible for a refund of our service fee, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer protection law. Government fees already paid to an agency are non-refundable where the agency does not refund them.

10. Dispute Resolution and Consumer Rights

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this agreement limits any rights you have under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
