NBI Clearance Renewal Requirements
For applicants who previously obtained an NBI Clearance.
Required Documents
- Copy of old NBI Clearance (2015 or later) if available
- Copy of passport bio page
- One 2x2 photo with white background
- Complete Canadian mailing address including province, postal code, and unit or PO Box if applicable
- Canadian contact number
- Mother's maiden name
- Father's full name
- Spouse's name (if married)
Important Notice
The address to be reflected in the NBI Clearance must be your Canadian address. Using a Philippine address may require personal appearance in the Philippines.
Change of Civil Status
If your status changed from Single to Married, please attach a copy of your Marriage Certificate.
First-Time Applicant or No Old NBI Clearance
If you do not have a previous NBI Clearance, or if your previous clearance was issued in 2015 or earlier, fingerprinting is required.
Visit the Philippine Embassy or Consulate
Visit the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate and request the NBI Fingerprint Form.
Confirm Appointment
Call ahead to confirm if an appointment is required, as some offices require appointments while others accept walk-ins.
Bring Required Documents
Bring: passport copy, two 2x2 photos with white background, and payment for consular fingerprinting service (~$37–$40 CAD).
Mail Fingerprint Form
Mail the original fingerprint form together with a copy of your passport to our Toronto processing address. Write "MabuhayConnect" clearly on the envelope.
Additional Service Fee
$20 CAD applies for forwarding fingerprint documents to Manila.
