Do I still pay government and consular fees with MabuhayConnect?

Yes. Government and consular charges are paid to the issuing agency and are separate from our service fee unless expressly included in the package you selected. We never mark those fees up.

Can I apply directly without MabuhayConnect?

Yes. Customers may apply directly through the appropriate Philippine government agency, subject to that agency's requirements. MabuhayConnect provides optional paid administrative assistance and coordination.

Do I need a relative or friend in the Philippines?

Not with our service. Applicants processing on their own usually rely on someone in the Philippines to visit offices, pay fees and ship documents.

Are these prices the same as your cost calculator?

Yes. This page uses the same pricing configuration as the Service Cost Calculator: electronic copy CAD $80 (tax included), Regular Mail CAD $90 plus applicable tax, and Registered Mail CAD $120 plus applicable tax.

Do first-time applicants need to visit the embassy?

Yes. First-time applicants, and those whose last clearance was issued in 2015 or earlier, must have their fingerprints taken at a Philippine Embassy or Consulate in Canada. We guide you through the fingerprint step, then handle the processing and delivery.
